At G&D Curtain Décor, we want to give our customers the most enjoyable shopping experience, one that will keep them coming back to our store time and time again. That’s why we believe that our store policies should be fair, clear and transparent. Below you’ll find a list of all our policies. Customer Care
Privacy Policy and Data Protection Act
The Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and AdditionalCharges) Regulations.
The images used on our website are photographed from the products that they represent. However due to lighting affects and individual monitor quality it is not possible to guarantee a true likeness with respect to colour, and we cannot accept responsibility for this.

By law we have the right to dismiss customers who are extremely rude and being disrespectful to any of our staff, or if our staff feel threatened police may be called to the premises and you will be removed from the store.

Privacy Policy
We use your information only for the following purposes:

  • Processing your order

  • Updating you with your orders

  • Contacting you about your order

  • To serve personalised content to you

  • To provide installation at the right premises

The information, which you supply to us, is treated with the highest level of confidentiality. All information such as your name, address, payment details, email address is sorted on secure servers. We confirm that any personal information which you provide to us from which we can identify you, is held strictly in accordance with the registration office.

It is vital that the information you provide when you register as a customer is true, accurate, current and complete in all respects. And that you agree not to impersonate any other person or entity or to use a false name or a name that you are not authorised to use.

Measurements

  1. Please check your measurements to ensure you order the correct size as this will not be possible to change.

  2. Think about our measuring service if you would like us to book you in for one. 

  3. If you do not wish to go with our measuring service then we are not held responsible for your measurements if they have not been measured correctly.

  4. Once your order is processed your material/tracks/poles/blinds will be cut to your measurements after 24hours of your order. Therefore, you must be sure with your order before placing an order with us as this will not be refunded.

Payments

We require payments in 2 instalments. 1st is to secure your order and 2nd is to receive your order once completed. There is also another option where you may pay the order all in full if this is more convenient for you.

Types of payment accepted:
- Credit / Debit Cards

-Cash
- Mastercard
- Account Transfer
- Over the phone

Deposit

To place your order we require a deposit for material/tracks/poles/blinds/Austrian curtains/blinds. 

Curtains: We require deposit for the materials only

Tracks: We require full payment as this is custom made product from aluminium which cannot be moulded into different measurements

Poles: We require full payment as this custom made product is also cut to measure therefore it cannot be re-used

Blinds: We require full payment as this custom made product is also produced to your specific measurements and cannot be re-used

Austrian curtains/blinds: We require deposit for the materials and half of the making price. This is because they are extremely high priced for the amount of work that must be put in them you must pay upfront cost for the making.

Outstanding balance

To receive your order or to book your installation your outstanding balance must be paid.

Collection

You must pay your outstanding balance in store to collect your full order. We do advise your to have a look at your products before you leave to ensure that there are no problems.

Installation

You must pay your remaining balance at the moment of booking your installation date. As this will confirm your installation date and time.

Returns&Cancellations

Made to measure products are all custom made to your precise requirements. Once made our products are only suitable for your USE ONLY and therefore cannot be cancelled or returned unless there is a manufacturer fault or not made to accordance with your order. Because of this, it is extremely important that you are sure about the product that you want and the size you require. We advise that you take advantage of our measuring service. G&D Curtain Décor cannot be held responsible if you dislike the colour or any feature of the product. We strongly recommend that you double check the products that you wish to have custom made.

As all items are made to order, cancellation or changes to your order are not possible once your order has been processed. Your order will be processed 24hours after you make your payment. If, for any reason you wish to amend your order then you must immediately get in touch with us within 24hours. 

 

Collections&Installations

We aim to produce all Made To Measure items within 3-4weeks. There may be occasions where unforeseen circumstances prevent this. If a delay occurs or is likely to occur, we will make contact to advise you of the revised fulfilment date. If your selected fabric is currently out of stock, the amended completion date will reflect the expected timeframe for stock replenishment as well as the original lead time or you may choose a different material. We will not produce partial orders, therefore if a single item is temporarily unavailable, your entire Made To Measure Order will be paused until such a time it can be completed. Using your preferred method of contact we will let you know when your order is complete.

We will only provide you with installation date and time as soon as all your order has been completed. If you wish to have it installed on a specific date please inform us but we can not guarantee that we will accept. So please be patient until we contact you to update you on your installation date. We will not install partial orders, therefore you must wait until your full order is complete.

Outstanding balance must be paid on the day we schedule a fitting/installation date or on collection.

WE WILL NOT FIT/INSTALL IF THE BALANCE IS NOT PAID.
